A little bit about me...

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at Bemidji State University (BSU). I have been at BSU since the fall of 2008. I am currently teaching mostly undergraduate courses, including abnormal psychology, human sexuality, group processes, advanced topics, and research lab.
My research interests include community research on student substance abuse, outcomes of rehabilitation programs for correctional populations, and the psychology of human-animal interaction. Current research includes field studies investigating college alcohol abuse, with undergraduate students learning about the research process by working on research design, implementation, and analysis.
My Ph.D. is in clinical psychology. My clinical interest and experience is with adults and adolescents, with specific interests in substance use disorders.
